Iranian security forces have arrested a terrorist network in the Isfahan province, a provincial judicial source said.
Chief Justice of Isfahan Province Asadollah Jafari, on Friday, announced that eight terrorists were arrested in the province ahead of ceremonies to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the victory of Iran’s Islamic Revolution earlier in February.
He added that intelligence forces also detained 13 terrorists and seized large amounts of ammunition and weapons, including 55 hand-made bombs.
In line with the fight against the smuggling of critical drugs needed by people in Isfahan province, 21 smugglers were arrested, he added.
Jafari said Iranian security forces are trying hard to fight all types of terrorism, acts of sabotage, and organized thugs and counter cyber attacks.
